Color temperature is a unit of measurement that expresses the color components contained in light. In theory, blackbody temperature refers to the color that an absolute blackbody will take when heated from absolute zero (-273°C). After the black body is heated, it gradually changes from black to red, yellow, white, and finally emits blue light. When heated to a certain temperature, the spectral composition of the light emitted by a black body is called the color temperature at that temperature and is measured in "K" (Kelvin). |
